Abstract
607,675. Indicators. TAYLOR, H. W. Feb. 3, 1947, No. 29096. Divided out of Complete Specification of 607,623. [Class 118 (i)] In an indicator of the character described in Specification 607,623, the device 5, which supports the rod or rods 10 is slidably mounted in the channel guide member 2 by being formed of two plates 7, 8, urged apart by a spring. The front plate 7 is of a flattened C crosssection, while the back plate 8 has rabated edges 8a fitting within the flanges 7a of the front plate, the plates being prevented from moving laterally with respect to each other by a pressed-out tongue of flange 7a engaging a notch in flange 8a. Suitably fixed, e.g. by rivetting, to the front plate 7 is a rod 10 with an upturned end 10a and portions 11, preferably equally spaced, forming protuberances. These latter may be made of wire wound tightly around the rod 10, and between them may be hung cards 12 of known design. Spring clips 13 allow a card to be clipped to the face plate 7 and a depending member 7c forms a handle for moving the supporting device 5.
