Abstract

607,009.. Pneumatic conveyers. SMIDTH & CO., AKTIESELSKABET, F. L. Jan. 23, 1946, No. 2263. Convention date, April 25, 1941. [Class 78 (i)] In a pneumatic conveyer for powdered material the gas is introduced through pipes 4 which are spaced from the side walls 1, and issues therefrom through holes 11, Fig. 5, which are covered by porous material, e.g. felt 12. The material is fed in at 2 and fed out at 3. The pipes may have apertures arranged in a helix and be completely surrounded by porous material. The pipes may run along channels of square or round section, which may discharge material from a silo.
