Abstract
1357491 Pneumatic conveyer FIVES LELLE-CAIL 11 May 1972 [17 May 1971] 22256/72 Heading B8A [Also in Division B2] In, a grinding installation, ground products fall from the grinding chamber 10 into a hopper 26 which communicates with a conduit section 28 of a pneumatic circuit by an aperture 30; the conduit section being inclined downwardly in the downstream direction of flow of conveying fluid and communicating with a box 34 situated below it by an aperture 32 offset downstream of the; hopper aperture 30. The; larger particles thus fall into the box from where they are removed through door 36, while the ground particles of the required fineness are carried along by the air flow through a selector and a cyclone which separatesthe ground products from the conveying air flow so that they may be removed through an air lock.
