Abstract

603,539. Two-part couplings. CRABTREE & CO., Ltd., J. A., and MORGAN, R. W. Oct. 23, 1945, No. 27970. [Class 38 (i)] A fused pin is secured in the body of an electric plug by a lateral sliding movement following endwise movement. A fused pin such as shown in Fig. 1 may be inserted endwise in the circular opening c in the plug body (Fig. 6) and is then slid laterally so that the reduced section b<1> is held in the narrow portion c<1> of the slot. A pivoted plate (not shown) may then close the opening c and bear against the side of the pin.
