Abstract

603,210. Slicing machines. CLETON, J. Dec. 28, 1945, No. 35137. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Dec. 28, 1945.] [Class 28(ii)] [Also in Group XVIII] The material-receiving plate of a slicing machine is retained on its support by one or more annular holes on its underside which fit corresponding tubular projections on the support. The material plate e, which may be of opal glass, marble or like non- metallic material, is supported by rubber discs h on brackets g, j, of the machine and is retained in position by engagement of a single annular hole f, bored half-way through from its underside, with a tubular projection l on the bracket g. The projection is secured to the bracket by a bolt m, the bolt hole n in the bracket being oversize to allow of lateral adjustment.
