602,686. Lubricating. CROWTHER, J. B., and MULLINS, H. Nov. 9, 1945, No. 29921. [Class 12 (iii)] A device for applying oil to a spindle such as the the picker spindles of looms comprises an oil reservoir 1 with a removable undercap 2 having a stem 4 through which oil can pass to a trough-shaped member 5 fitted with a felt pad 6 of semi -cylindrical shape to engage the spindle. The reservoir is preferably cylindrical for slidable retention in a spring clip 10 adapted to be secured to some fixed part as shown in Fig. 4.
