Abstract

602,089. Pumps. TECALEMIT, Ltd., and LE CLAIR, C. C. S. Jan. 26, 1946, No. 2633. [Class 110 (ii)] [Also in Groups XXVIII and XXXIV] A grease-dispensing apparatus, suitable for other liquids or semi-liquids, has an auxiliary pump feeding a main-pressure pump in a casing 2 which is attached to a grease container 1. Fig. 1 shows a gear pump 4 which supplies grease to a recess 7 and a piston pump 9 which forces the grease along a delivery line. Fig. 2 shows a gear pump in which teeth 15 force grease through holes 19 to the hollow interiors of the gears from which plunger pumps 20 deliver the grease. The apparatus may be mounted on a trolley and operated manually or otherwise. The plunger pump may be replaced by an outwardly-sliding-vane pump.
