Abstract
601,760. Combined note cases and purses. BUXTON, Inc. Oct. 11, 1945, No. 26551. Convention date, Feb. 14. [Classes 18 and 133] In a note case provided with a purse, as described in Specification 542,312, the exposed pocket wall 15 is provided adjacent the mouth of the pocket with at least one downwardly extending cut 30 to permit the purse wall 22 and flap 20 behind the cut to bend between the spread edges of the cut when the front wall of the purse is drawn outwardly. The closure flap 24 and the front wall 22 of the purse may carry fasteners 25, 26 engageable through an opening 27 in the wall 15 of the pocket. The lower end of the cut 30 terminates in this opening and the other end may extend across the fold and into flap 20. The cut need not be centrally placed and there may be more than one.
