Abstract

601,010. Pipe joints. ZIMT , I. April 20, 1944, No. 7341. Convention date, April 27, 1943. [Class 99 (i)] A connection between a nozzle 10 and a grease - gun comprises a hinge joint 17 and a swivel joint 23, the hinge joint consisting of 2 hemispherical members 20, 21 having a spigot connection 24 and a clamp ring 26. The swivel joint comprises a socket 27 connected to the grease-gun and having a spigot connection 33 with a flange 22 on the hemispherical member 21 a loose flange 28 engaging a shoulder of the socket being secured to the flange 22 by screws 30. Swivelling may be facilitated by a handle 40.
