[Class 78(i)] A carrier of the pneumatic transmission type comprising, Fig. 1, an outer shell 4 with an opening 5, and an inner shell 6 fitted with an opening 7 and having a fixed ring 9 on which a plate 10 is rotatably coupled by means of bolts 12a, to buffer 13, is characterised by a ball 16 and spring 17 contained in a housing 15 fastened to the plate 10 so that an abutment 14 of the ring 9 is checked by.the ball 16 as it is rotated towards a stop 12b in closing the carrier and damage due to hasty closing of the carrier is avoided.
