599,667. Moulding footwear. BATA AKCIOVA SPOLECNOST. April 28, 1939. No. 12709. Convention date, May 30, 1938. Addition to 599,666. [Class 87 (ii)] The inner last-shape mould member 1 of the apparatus for moulding the soles of footwear on to uppers, as described in the parent Specification, is provided with a movable heel portion 16 which can be raised to shorten the length of the foot and thus facilitate the removal of the moulded article. As shown the heel portion is movable about an axis 18, and is held in the lower portion by a spring-pressed pin 19 and can be released by pressing a button 21.
