[Class 132 (iii)] The trigger motion of a spring-loaded toy pistol comprises a star-shaped wheel 18 adapted for angular movement in response to manual pressure on the exposed arm 19, such movement causing another arm 19 of the wheel first to retract the plunger 22 against its spring loading and subsequently to release it. The plunger 22 is provided with a diametral slot through which the upper portion of the wheel 18 projects. Each of the arms 19 has a cam profile at its leading edge and successive arms 19 are used as the trigger. The projectiles 16 are housed in magazine 14 and on retraction of the plunger 22 they are automatically fed to the barrel 11 under the action of spiral spring 28. The mechanism may be applied to toy machine guns, field guns and anti-aircraft guns.
