594,142. Intermittent toothed gearing. CLEAVE, E. S., and PLESSEY CO., Ltd. Jan. 30, 1945, No. 2334. [Class 80(i)] In an index mechanism, a driving pin 3 carried by an index shaft 1 engages in turn the slots 7 in a starwheel 5 mounted on an intermittently driven shaft 8 perpendicular to the shaft 1. A member 4 on the shaft 1 locks the wheel between the intermittent drives by engaging recesses 6 on one face of the wheel.
