Abstract

1,114,099. Screws. M. WALTON. 16 Jan., 1967, No. 2150/67. Heading F2H. A screw that can be driven in one way only, comprises a round head, and diametrically opposite recesses 16a and 16b. Each recess is formed by a driving face 20, located in a plane containing the axis of the screw, and a floor 22 parallel with the underface of the head and shaped like the horn of a crescent, with the side wall 24 merging smoothly into the surface of the round head.
