Abstract
593,772. Friction gearing. RABINOVIC, G. June 12, 1945, No. 14861. [Class 80(i)] Parallel shafts 4, 5, are connected by friction gearing comprising pulleys 1, 2, each having one or more V-shaped grooves and an endless belt or belts 3 of diamond shaped cross section engaging the grooves and surrounding one of the pulleys. In another arrangement, one pulley and the belt surrounding it is disposed within the other pulley which is internally grooved. Specification 237,677, [Class 80(i)], is referred to.
