Abstract
The process of the parent Specification is modified by using as the adhesive a methylol-urea or a phenol-formaldehyde resin, which may be formed in situ. In addition, lignin and wood flour from the same wood as the twigs to be bonded, may be added to the resin, and in the case of methylol-urea resin neutral or slightly alkaline solutions of water-soluble dyestuffs may also be added.ALSO:The process of the parent Specification is modified by using as the adhesive a methylol urea or a phenol formaldehyde resin which may be formed in situ. After placing the twigs or stalks in the mould the gaps may be filled with a mixture of wood flour and adhesive which may contain lignin. The wood may be coloured, in the case when methylol urea is used as the adhesive, by means of neutral or slightly alkaline solutions of water soluble dyes.
