Abstract
591,838. Colouring aluminium. ARMITAGE, N. A., GILL, J. P., HILL, F., and IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. April 14, 1945, No. 6366. [Class 93] Anodised aluminium is coloured by treating it at 10-40‹C with an aqueous solution of an acid dyestuff and then with steam at atmospheric pressure. The acid dyestuffs used are those suitable for dyeing wool from acid dyebaths and for chroming after dyeing and may be Solochrome orange G.R. 200 or Chromozol brown 3 R.S.
