Abstract
In the production of tablets &c. from powdery &c. materials for subsequent dissolution or dispersion in a liquid medium, a disintegrating agent consisting of a small proportion of bentonite or fuller's earth is admixed with the ingredients before they are compressed. According to examples, tablets for rendering sea water potable are made by compressing a mixture of (1) silver zeolite, silver oxide, barium chloride and bentonite, or (2) silver zeolite, silver oxide, barium monoxide and fuller's earth. Specification 501,960, [Group VI], is referred to.ALSO:In the production of medicinal tablets &c. from powdery &c materials for subsequent dissolution or dispersion in a liquid medium, a disintegrating agent consisting of a small proportion of bentonite or fuller's earth is admixed with the ingredients before they are compressed. Specification 501,960 is referred to.
