[Class 64 (ii)] A portable heating device for a greenhouse, garage, chicken incubator, brooder and foster mother or like structure comprises a small boiler A having a thin metal base a, the outlet pipe a' being connected to a tube c open at each end and enclosed within an outer tube B which is connected with the inlet pipe a<2> of the boiler and a liquid supply reservoir D which is preferably a tube supported above the tube B by brackets d, and the upper. part of tube D at one end is connected by pipe d' to the top of tube B while the lower part of the tube D is similarly connected by pipe d<2>. Supports may be fixed to tube B and may be high enough to permit a source of heat to fit under the boiler. Suitable heating means are a paraffin lamp, gas burners or electrical heating elements. The tube B has a filling aperture b. An aperture closed by a combined filler cap and safety valve d' is provided at the top of tube D.
