[Class 1371 In an air distributor device the deflector element is formed as a substantially flat plate 4 spaced from the discharge end of a casing 1 to allow discharge of f air therefrom and angularly adjustable in position relative to the discharge end. As shown, the casing 1 is provided with a bridge 2 carrying a guide 2a for the spindle 3 of the deflector plate 4. The spindle 3 is formed with two grooves 6 and 7 for selectively engaging the spring loaded ball 8 to maintain the plate 4 in the open or closed position. The angular adjustment of the plate 4 is allowed by means of the ball joint 5. In place of the sliding spindle and spring loaded ball, a screw threaded spindle engaging a screwed boss may be used.
