[Class 75 (iii)] [Also in Group XXV] A cycle lamp has a gapped extension piece b, and extending across the gap, a bolt c with a headpiece d at one end, and a nut e at the other, the bolt c having a slot adapted to receive the tongue piece of a lamp bracket, so that when the nut e is tightened to compress the arms of the extension piece together, the sides of the tongue of the lamp bracket are gripped tightly by washers, g. In one modification, the slot extends right through to the nut end, where it is closed by a filling piece, and in another the slot is replaced by a side gap in the bolt. In a third modification, the bolt is made in two similar halves adapted to form a slot between them, and both ends are provided with nuts.
