[Class 44] A device for securing members such as trim pads or weather strips to sheet metal panels or wooden pillars comprises a stud 10. formed of a strip of spring metal and having feet 19, 20 housed within or bonded to the underside of a moulded head 11 of rubber or other resilient material. A washer 21 may encircle the neck 15 or may be moulded into or bonded to the underside of the head 11, in which case it may have perforations 22. The head 11 may be formed of two portions 24, 25 cemented together with the feet 19, 20 held between them. A number of studs may be secured to a weather-strip by moulding or bonding, separate heads being dispensed with. Specifications 451,721; 513,602 and 521,287, [both in Group XX], are referred to.
