[Class 97 (i)] In rimless or semi-rimless spectacles in which one or two securing straps are provided for each lens, the strap 8 is rigid or integral with an internally threaded bush 9 extending through a hole in the lens 1 and held thereto by a screw 11 and a transparent washer 12, a resilient washer 10 of natural or synthetic rubber providing a resilient mounting. The washer 12 may be omitted.
