[Class 51 (i)] [Also in Groups XXIX and XXXV] A member, such as the damper 14 of a furnace, is operated by an electric motor 1 which is rotated through a predetermined angle in alternate directions in response to predetermined conditions through a slipping clutch device 6, 9, the driven member 9 of which has a projection 10 which engages with adjustable. stops 13 to limit the movement of the driven member or damper 14. The operations of the motor may be effected automatically by a condition such as temperature or pressure and in addition the stops 13 may be similarly adjustable. The motor may also operate the speed control of the stoker drive and a fan for providing forced draught.
