Abstract
578,535. Wallpaper pasting machines. THOMAS, A. June 19, 1944, No. 11607. [Class 20 (ii)] A machine for preparing wallpaper for hanging includes, in addition to the main table 6, pasting trough 9, rollers, trimmers &c. a hinged extension table 7, 8 which may be used to cover the trough and form a continuous extension of the main table. The frame 1 of the machine may be collapsable. A sliding or otherwise moveable leaf may replace the hinged leaf 8. In a modification the frame consists of a box with a hinged lid which stands on end partly open with hinges vertical when supporting the trough and tables. These may be packed into the box for transport. A second modification has an inverted V stand, which may be a box and lid, and a cross braced girder-like support for the tables and trough. One table may be dispensed with and the trough mounted in its place. A third modification has extensible tables at both sides, meeting when extended over a central trough.
