Abstract

578,487. Electrolytic condensers. SPORING, P. A., and TELEGRAPH CONDENSER CO., Ltd. March 27, 1944, No. 5640. [Class 37] One end of the leading-out wire 1 of an electrolytic condenser is flattened, bent to form a longitudinal trough 3, and the metal foil 4 inserted and secured by closing the sides of the trough. These may then be dented or punctured to give better mechanical and electrical contact. The leading-out wires so attached may be used as the winding mandrel, or if the wires are not sufficiently rigid one of them may be mounted in a thin metal trough 6 which is withdrawn after the winding operation.
