575,143. Toilet powder containers. LEITER, H. Jan. 18, 1944, No. 925. [Class 18] A powder sifter 5 for a toilet box 2 comprises a perforated cover 6 of thin sheet metal, celluloid, cardboard or like non-metallic material having a depending flange 7 adapted to press-fit the wall 8 of the powder box. Powder is delivered by pneumatic action when pressure is applied to the top of the sifter by a powder puff. The perforation in the cover 6 may take the form of two intersecting slits. A lid 3 and removable mirror 4 may be provided.
