[Class 39 (i)] [Also in Group XXVIII] A gas filter is formed of wool in which a proportion of resin is mixed and the mixture is carded to form a lap of uniform thickness in which the resin is thus permanently electrified. Asbestos may be incorporated in the mixture ; other fibres may replace the wool and asbestos. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 433,186, [Group XXVIII].
