Nov. 3, 1943, No. 18226 [Class 52 (ii)] The back 2, seat 1 and two supporting members 7, 8 of a collapsible chair are hingedly connected to a transverse bar 4 about which they can be folded; the supporting members being of tray-like form to enclose the parts when in the folded condition. The back and seat are maintained in the erected position by folding struts 18, 9 and folding armrests 12, 13 may also be provided.
