569,159. Coil winding apparatus. MICAFIL. Ltd.. and TRIGGS. W. W. June 30, 1943, No, 10629. Addition to 563,932. [Class 35] In a machine for winding the stators of electric motors as described in the parent Specification, the guide roller 38 bv which the wire 34 is led from the supply spool to rod 10 carrying the winding head is placed at a distance from the rod equal to at least twice the longitudinal stroke of the rod. The roller 38 is made to act as an adjustable brake and the supply spool is mounted with its axis perpendicular to the axis of the stator.
