Abstract

568,410. Signalling over power circuits. LANDIS & GYR SOC. ANON. March 11, 1943, No. 3952. Convention date, March 16, 1942. Drawings to Specification. [Class 40 (iv)] In a system in which certain signals over a power network consist of simple impulses of one or other of two frequencies, e.g. for switching street lamps on and off and other signals are given by currents of a third frequency which control a selective system, blocking networks to confine the signalling currents to the appropriate parts of the network are tuned with the aid of the selective system to the conditions in which they block the on/off signals and automatically resume the condition in which they block the signals of the selective system after a time interval.
