Abstract

560,007. Fire alarm systems. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd., and BATES, E. F. Sept. 11, 1942, No. 12842. Addition to 557,077. Drawings to Specification. [Class 40 (i)] The system described in the parent Specification is modified by the two sets of signalling contacts at each substation being in the closed loop with the earth connection between them. The " non-interfering succession " feature may be provided by the use of a magnet having two windings in the loop and a third winding in the earth connection, as shown in Fig. 2 of Specification 328,665, [Class 40 (i)].
