520,448. Phase changing. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd. Oct. 21, 1938, No. 30529. Convention date, Oct. 30, 1937. [Class 38 (ii)] [Also in Group XL] In an eight-channel signalling system, 10 K.C. current is supplied to a network from the points Ph1. Ph8 of which currents are derived of the same frequency but different phases. Each current is normally displaced 45 degrees from its neighbours, but the exact phase, except in the case of Ph1 and Ph5 can be adjusted by means of a tuned circuit CA without affecting the other currents.
