[Class 126] In a grate for burning coke, fitted with an igniting burner, the bars are of firebrick reinforced by metal rods extending longitudinally through each firebar. The rods 3 extend beyond the ends of the firebars 4 and rest in slots 2 in front and rear supporting members 1 which are curved in plan. The bars are conical and radiate from a point formed by the intersection of the backwardly projected planes of the sides of the fireplace.
