[Class 83 (iii)] Relates to drills for producing shot holes in coal and rock and consists in a bit having two wings, each with a hard cutting face 16, 18, the wing 12 being straight and the wing 14 having an outward inclination. Both wings have pointed cutting-edges, the tip of that of the wing 14 being at a greater distance from the axis. Specifications 500,147 and 518,747 are referred to.
