Abstract

565,265. Air filters. SIGMUND PUMPS (GREAT BRITAIN), Ltd., and LASZLO, A. July 9, 1943, No. 11194. [Class 8 (ii)] An air filter consists of concentric rings 2 of paper &c. between end pieces 4, 8, the air entering and leaving by holes or circular slots 6, 9 on opposite sides of each ring. The rings may be conical or cylindrical. Their ends are sealed in grooves by latex &c. in the end pieces which may be respectively a tray with a flange; and a cover for the tray. The rings may be cut on a grooved former. The filter may be formed with rings of depth increasing towards the middle.
