Abstract

563,526. Alloys. BAKER & CO., Inc. Sept. 9, 1942, No. 12722. Convention date, Dec. 19, 1941. [Class 82 (i)] An alloy suitable for dentures and other dental appliances and also for jewellery contains 40-60 per cent platinum, 20-40 per cent palladium, 10-30 per cent gold, and 2-9 per cent silver. The preferred silver content is 4 per cent. The combined content of platinum and gold is preferably not less than about 60 per cent, and the combined content of platinum and palladium not less than about 61 per cent.
