[Class 82 (i)] [Also in Group III] A combustion tube for use in the analysis of hologenated organic vapours is constructed of an alloy of platinum with at least one of the metals rhodium, iridium, and ruthenium, containing preferably not less than 50 per cent. of platinum and not more than 30 per cent. of rhodium.
