563,259. Bread board. PIRIE, W. J. March 10, 1943, No. 3849. [Class 28 (ii)] A bread &c. board has a back board 5 and a pair of spaced vertical guides 6 to receive and guide the outer end only of the knife during hand cutting. The guides are lined with metal &c. plates 9 with bevelled front edges. The slot tapers at the front and throughout its height and is enlarged at the top 11. The base may be covered with a metal plate &c. or the base and back may be of wood, metal, synthetic resin, &c. The underside of the base may be provided with rubber or other non-slip material or feet.
