[Class 28 (ii)] A bread, cheese, or other cutting-board has a recess milled or machined in the face or the underside thereof,. the recess being deep at one end b to receive a knife handle and shallow at the other end to receive the knife blade, and the recess is either covered along its length by a sliding cover d or retained transversely by a cross-piece at a point near the handle. As shown the recess tapers upwardly from the end b. The cover d may be removable or glued in position.
