Abstract

616,082. Bread &c. boards. PARKER, T. Aug. 26, 1946. No. 25513. [Class 28 (ii)] A bread &c. board has an elongated recess 15 to contain a knife 30, the handle 31 being releasably secured by a spring latch 22. When the latch is released by a push button 25 in the surface of the board, a spring 17 urges the knife out of the recess. The recess 15 increases in width towards its enclosed end. The recess is formed in the middle thickness of the board between screwed-on outer boards 12, 13 which after wear can be replaced by a new surface board.
