[Class 38 (v)] For mounting a switch, &c. in a wall, a brick-like unit a is provided with a recess a<2>, into which the switch, &c. b is to lie, behind which a slot a<3> extending more on either side accommodates a plate c to which the switch, &c. b is secured by screws d. The base of the switch bears against shoulder a<4> in the bottom of the recess a<2>, which lie slightly proud of the plate c so that a clamping action is obtained.
