[Class 86] [Also in Group V] Artificial marble is made by feeding differently coloured plastic ingredients through passages A, B, laterally to a conveyer C having scrapers, such as the thread of the screw conveyer in the con. struction shown, which compound the ingredients to form a veined mass. The ingredients may be mixtures of cement and marble chippings to form the material known as terrazzo, or differently coloured plasters to form plaster marble; they may be made up as dry mixes and wetted before introduction into the machine.
