As shown, a U- shaped member a having arms a<1>, a<2> hinged. together at e is secured to the. blade c of the T-square by studs &c. b while the arm a<2> projects below the board d and is provided with a pivot g upon which is pivoted a cross arm h , arid two arms i having rollers j adapted to bear against the edge of the board d. The arms i are connected to the cross arm h by tension springs k. The arms a<1>, u2 are held. together by a spring f and undue separation of the arms a<1>, a<2> is prevented by a stop m.
