[Class 20 (i)] A mast comprises a series of rigid members connected together end to end to form a unitary structure each member being formed of sections 1, 2, 3 as described in Specification 560,841 and tapering from a point in its length towards each end ; the sections from which each member 'is formed are adapted to be nested for transport. The mast comprising the superposed members is laterally supported by guy-ropes 4a, 5a, 6a attached to the mast at the joints and extending outwardly on each side to a common fixing point to the ground.
