559,146. Combination weapons. PUCKLE, G. D. B. July 27, 1942, No. 10520. [Class 119] A revolver or pistol has associated with the butt thereof a dagger or knife and, optionally, a fingerguard which may have a knuckle-duster formation. In the revolver shown, the usual trigger-guard is replaced by a guard 19 which is attached to the frame and butt 16 by screws 17, 18, 22. The guard has a socket 23 formed therein in which is reversibly mounted a dagger blade 20. A spring-catch 27 locks into an annular groove 24 in the shank of the blade and retains it in the protruded position, Fig. 1, or sheathed, as shown in Fig. 4. The guard has a fingers-hole 45, the front wall of which is formed as a knuckle-duster 21.
