[Class 82 (ii)] [Also in Groups XXVI and XXXVI] A gasket or like packing is produced by waterproofing asbestos, millboard &c. by spraying with or dipping in a cellulose base lacquer or varnish containing a metallic, e.g. ferric oxide and depositing a metallic coating thereon. The waterproofed asbestos &c. may be prepared for electrolytic deposition of metal by any of the processes claimed in Specifications 554,341 and 554,370.
