555,876. Moulding electric terminals. SPORING, P. A., JOHNSON, C. P., TELEGRAPH CONDENSER CO., Ltd. April 27, 1942, No. 5596. [Class 87 (ii)] To facilitate bonding of the metal ring 4 to the insulating base 1 during moulding, the ring is previously roughened by applying thereto, as by spraying, a coating of powdered or granular metal. The terminal is of the kind in which the bush supports an eyelet, a tag or a metal stem 2 made hollow for the reception of a leading-out wire from a condenser or other electrical apparatus, the metal ring 4 being attached to the condenser casing &c. as by spinning or soldering.
