[Class 83 (iii)] A milling cutter, particularly for cutting slots such as nut castellations of the same width as the cutter, has alternate teeth bevelled on opposite sides as shown at 6, 6a, the width of the bottom cutting edges 7 being preferably two-thirds the width of the teeth.
