[Class 145 (ii)] A combined cutting and planing saw in which both the tips and the sides of the teeth cut or plane the wood, is provided with teeth disposed wholly within the planes of the sides of the saw and having cutting surfaces bevelled alternately to right and left, the set to the teeth being provided by a slight flare, shown greatly exaggerated at 3, produced, after the teeth have been sharpened, by a burring tool.
